MATERIALS WE CANNOT ACCEPT
For safety and environmental compliance, the following materials are prohibited at our facility.
RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS
Any material that is radioactive or contaminated with radiation.
PRESSURIZED TANKS & CYLINDERS
Propane tanks, oxygen tanks, fire extinguishers, and other sealed pressurized containers (unless properly emptied and valve removed).
HAZARDOUS WASTE
Chemicals, paint, solvents, pesticides, motor oil, antifreeze, and other toxic or hazardous substances.
MERCURY-CONTAINING ITEMS
Thermostats, fluorescent bulbs, and switches containing mercury.
PCB-CONTAMINATED EQUIPMENT
Transformers and capacitors that contain polychlorinated biphenyls.
MEDICAL & BIOHAZARD WASTE
Needles, syringes, and any materials contaminated with biological hazards.
AMMUNITION & EXPLOSIVES
Live rounds, firearms, fireworks, and any explosive materials.
TIRES & RUBBER
Tires, large rubber products, and rubber-coated materials.
HOUSEHOLD TRASH & ELECTRONICS
General garbage, food waste, e-waste (TVs, monitors, computers). These require specialized recycling.
